JBS Academy conducts 4-day workshop to train candidates of Regulation 6 examination

The vocational education arm of Ahmedabad-based JBS Group of Companies conducted a 4-day workshop to prepare its students for Regulations 6 Examinations from December 21-24, 2016 at JBS Academy, Ahmedabad. The examination held under the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulation 2013 will be held next year on January 20, 2017.

The 8 hour-long workshop started from 10AM in the morning and continued till 7PM, and included interactive classroom teaching sessions and mock test papers. Industry experts with over 20 years of experience orchestrated the discussions, evaluated answer sheets and provided valuable feedback to individual students. In addition, the workshop also provided self-study materials for candidates who could not appear for the workshop.

An encouraging response from the students were received, half of which consisted entrepreneurs, who actively participated in each segment of the workshop. They demonstrated enthusiasm to learn from a highly qualified faculty. Around 40% of the students appearing for the workshop hailed from Ahmedabad itself, 30% of students from Gandhidham while the rest of the students hailed from other parts of the country such as Mumbai, Pune and Kanpur. About 20% of the students were women, whose level of participation was at par with their male counterparts.

The workshop is part of a relevant course structure designed by the faculty of JBS Academy. Adequate support would be provided to the aspirants who were unable to participate for the workshop. These candidates may register for and procure detailed self study material, 24 x 7 access to online video lectures, CDs and other course material to prepare well for Regulation 6 examination.
